Your trip

Explore the beauty of Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations, famous for its diverse landscapes, tree-climbing lions, and breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Located approximately 2 hours from Arusha, Lake Manyara National Park is a compact but incredibly rich safari destination that combines lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, hot springs, and the beautiful alkaline Lake Manyara itself. The lake covers a large portion of the park and attracts thousands of flamingos and other bird species throughout the year.

This full-day safari offers excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, wildebeests, impalas, and monkeys. The park is especially famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, often seen resting on acacia tree branches.

The safari includes exciting game drives through different ecosystems, offering constantly changing scenery and excellent photography opportunities. Visitors also enjoy spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley and the peaceful natural beauty that makes Lake Manyara one of Tanzania’s most unique parks.
